Bucket List Adventures

So - one of the new things I'm going to be attempting to tackle fresh into my 30's is my, seemingly ever-growing, Bucket List. I love the idea of having a running list of all these things I hope to accomplish at some point in my life. I randomly stumbled across this site, and decided to jump on creating my own.

Here's my current list - some things I've already knocked off, but I still have many, many, more I hope to accomplish.

I'll be hoping to document my future adventures - stay tuned.

Unapologetically Me

It took me quite some time before I had that "Moment". You know the one I'm talking about? The one where you feel like you suddenly just woke up, and thing's just start clicking into place in your mind? I suppose another way to view it was that I think I've found my back bone. I'm convinced it was hiding in my 30's... which my 20's surely are unimpressed with, but here we are.

I've decided I'm done letting others dictate my life, aside from my adorable son LB of course, and I'm going to work towards achieving what I have semi-planned for my life. There's so much I want to experience, and it's taken me a confusing and fast-paced decade to realize that I need to follow suit with everyone else around me and go for what I want. It also means I need to set boundaries for myself and keep them - even if that means I have to get a little sassy in the process. Haha.

I decided to blog my way through my journey of becoming more of the "me" I'm hoping to be. I'm honestly not sure what that's going to look like - so it will be just as much of a surprise for me as it will be for anyone else who decides to follow along with me. I have some thoughts running around on the hamster wheel in my head, but I'm going to save those for a later time.

Overall, while I'm not exactly where I imagined I'd be when I reached this point in my life, I am quite content. I have a husband who treats me well, and a sweet & hilarious little boy who stole my heart the moment we met him. We purchased an older farmhouse and are working our way through it until it becomes "Ours", which definitely takes a lot of love & patience for & with each other. Haha. We don't have everything, but we have each other, so we're still on the winning side of that fence.

If you've decided to join along - Welcome. I'm fully intending to be 110% unapologetically me.

Until next time - - Paige
